Getting stunnel

This section should give you information on where to pick up the stunnel source code and pre-compiled binaries.

What is the latest release of stunnel?

The latest release is version 3.8. A list of the more recent versions and their release dates:

All the pages on this FAQ refer to the 3.8 version unless otherwise specified. Some functions available in 3.8 were not available in previous versions. Older versions of the software can be found in the OBSOLETE directory on the official and mirror sites.

Note also that not all mirrors are up-to-date. Many mirrors are out there that are no longer official mirrors, and are seriously behind. It's strongly suggested you stick to the mirrors below.
